The Palm Beach Yacht Club was the perfect spring setting for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County to toast its many donors and supporters for their unwavering support this season.
In her remarks, Habitat Greater PBC’s President and CEO Jennifer Thomason thanked GL Homes for hosting the event. She also thanked her hardworking board of directors and dedicated employees for helping the underserved gain independence through homeownership.
Habitat for Humanity works in more than 70 countries and has helped more than 59 million people improve their living conditions since 1976.
Habitat works together with families, local communities, volunteers and partners from around the world so that more people can live in affordable and safe homes. The goal of Habitat’s advocacy efforts is to eradicate systemic obstacles that prevent low-income and historically underserved families from accessing adequate and affordable shelter.
Through financial support, volunteering or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves.
