Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County honored GL Homes with its Corporate Excellence of the Year award.
For 20 years, GL Homes has supported Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County’s community mission, by providing essential programs, resources, and unforgettable experiences for club members. The shared partnership between Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County and GL Homes embodies the true spirit of community.
Some of the many projects that GL Homes has accomplished to positively impact the lives of BGCSLC children and teens include:
GL Homes donated over $50,000 to support BGCSLC’s food pantry, fondly known as The Chu, in Port St. Lucie; the homebuilder is the presenting sponsor of BGCSLC’s annual holiday gift drives; GL Homes spearhead backpack drives for BGCSLC’s back-to-school efforts; and GL Homes kickstarted BGCSLC’s transportation campaign to purchase the first passenger van now used at the Ken Pruitt Unit to transport children.
Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County proudly marks its 30th anniversary. For three decades, the nonprofit has transformed the lives of young people, fostered their potential, and has empowered them to become responsible, caring, and productive citizens. By offering a safe and supportive space, members are encouraged to overcome challenges, build meaningful relationships, and develop essential life skills. Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie celebrates past achievements while looking ahead to a future filled with even greater opportunities for impact.
