Summer of Service Goes the Extra Mile at Lewis Center

GL Homes continues its Summer of Service initiative with its second July volunteer dinner at the Lewis Center in West Palm Beach. Volunteers went the extra mile by packing two days’ worth of lunches for the Lewis Center residents.

The Lewis Center is an emergency homeless shelter, for 70 men and women.

GL Homes ordered a hearty summer BBQ meal from the catering department of Feeding South Florida. Lewis Center clients enjoyed BBQ chicken and beef, beans, fresh salad, roasted broccoli, and for dessert: creamy flan and delicious chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese icing.
