While many families take time off during school spring break, there are many children who must do without regular meals when school is not in session.
The GL Homes Riverland team stepped in to provide a hot lunch to 100 Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County children and staff during the St. Lucie County School District’s weeklong spring break.
In addition to providing this $2,800 catered lunch with all the trimmings to the Chuck Hill Unit in Port St. Lucie, GL Homes donated an additional $5,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County to purchase lunches and snacks for these children during spring break.
