Thanks to a generous donation of new and scratch and dent appliances from GL Homes to Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County, Habitat ReStores had recording-breaking sales!

Several days after the GL Homes donation, Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County Chief Development Officer Julia Murphy reported,  “the total store sales from the GL Homes donation was $37,430 over 6 days ($6,238 per day). This is the largest amount we have raised in a six-day timeframe.”

Those appliances were sold at Habitat ReStores, which are home improvement thrift stores and donation centers. ReStores sell quality merchandise, building materials and household items to the public at a fraction of the retail price.  The money generated from sales goes back into Habitat programs.
