Thanks to an outpouring of community and corporate support, the Humane Society of St. Lucie County’s Blue Jean Ball raised over $100,000 to provide shelter, food and medical care to abused, neglected and abandoned cats and dogs in St. Lucie County.
GL Homes Vice President of Zoning Azlina Goldstein and Port St. Lucie Mayor Shannon Martin were Blue Jean Ball co-chairs. GL Homes sponsored the sold-out event.
All donations support the thousands of dogs and cats that come through the shelter every year. The Humane Society of St. Lucie County is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate care and safe shelter for homeless animals and education to the community on responsible pet ownership. This no-kill shelter finds good, safe, and loving homes for all of the animals in its care.
