GL Homes donated $135,000 worth of gently-used furniture from Valencia Sound in Boynton Beach and Boca Bridges in Boca Raton.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County and Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County received a combined six-figure donation of furniture, materials and kitchen appliances. The donation included patio and living room furniture, a pool table, a ping pong table, framed artwork, tables and chairs, a refrigerator, lighting fixtures, massage chairs, kitchen cabinets, wooden doors, automatic sliding doors, décor and office supplies.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County has already put many of the items to use furnishing their Riviera Beach Club and West Palm Beach corporate office. Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County will sell the items they received at its ReStores, which are the nonprofit’s retail outlets. Proceeds generated from Habitat for Humanity ReStore sales help to pay for operational and administrative costs.
