GL Volunteers Prep 600 Meals for Homebound Seniors

GL Homes’ Summer of Service initiative is in full swing with a dozen GL employees volunteering their time to prepare 600 meals for homebound seniors at Feeding South Florida in Boynton Beach. Nutritious, ready-to-eat meals are provided to those in need from Palm Beach County south to The Keys.
 
Summer of Service, a GL Homes initiative, provides time and resources to nonprofits during the slower summer months. While many people take a summer break, the needs of charities and their clients never take a vacation.

Feeding South Florida’s mission is to end hunger in South Florida by providing immediate access to nutritious food, leading hunger and poverty advocacy efforts and transforming lives through innovative programming and education.
