Best Foot Forward students delved into the world of famed Mexican painter Frida Kahlo at the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach.
On holiday break from their university studies, six college-age students spent a Saturday afternoon on a docent-led tour of the Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera & Mexican Modernism exhibit. After the tour, the students explored Kahlo’s style through a private, hands-on art lesson in a Norton Museum classroom.
The students are part of Best Foot Forward, a Palm Beach County nonprofit, that empowers foster care youth and those who have aged out of the foster care system to realize their potential by providing essential academic support and guidance.
GL Homes sponsored and organized the entire afternoon for the Best Foot Forward students at the Norton Museum of Art.
