Building Trust Crucial to Break Homelessness Cycle
Tuesday, September 28, 2021
The Outreach Team of The Lord’s Place conducts visits to areas where people experiencing homelessness live and frequent. The Lord’s Place’s effective approach to community engagement stems from its use of trained peer specialists, who use their personal recovery history and shared experience with clients to quickly establish trust and rapport.
GL Homes donated $5,000 to cover the cost of one’s month’s supply of food and toiletries the Outreach Team will distribute to its clients.
The Lord’s Place works to break the cycle of homelessness for men, women, children and families in Palm Beach County.
