State Youth of the Year Showcases Top Talent

Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County (BGCSLC) was the 2021 host for the State Youth of the Year competition. Due to the pandemic, this year’s event was virtual.

Twenty-five teens from Boys and Girls Clubs throughout Florida competed for the Florida Youth of the Year top honor. Elyse Bailey represented BGCSLC in the two-day-long competition. Elyse was one of six finalists. The winner hailed from the Sarasota Boys & Girls Clubs. Azlina Siegel of GL Homes was one of the judges for this statewide competition.
 
Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County has 22 club locations serving more than 16,000 youth K-12 with life-enriching programs.
