In the photo above, GL employees and Valencia Cove residents are preparing sandwiches for the next day’s lunch.

As part of GL’s Summer of Service initiative, GL employees volunteer their time to serve dinner to and prepare the next day’s lunch for Lewis Center residents.  Volunteers are needed year-round, particularly during the summer when many people are on vacation.

The Lewis Center provides temporary housing, up to 90 days, for people who are homeless.
